Action Cancer have set a minimum fundraising target of £3300, which if I don't meet, I can't go. I've already paid £200 towards the cost of the trip, and I will be paying a further £700 towards costs from my own money. This is entirely voluntary, as Action Cancer will cover all costs involved if I didn't pay any money at all. I wasn't prepared to allow them to do that.
There is a time constraint in relation to fundraising in that I have to pay 80% of the £3300 target 12 weeks prior to departure (19th October) - so in July 2007 I have to pay £2640.
As you'll note from my webpage at www.justgiving.com/throothekaroo I have set a personal target of £4000! So much easier to work with round numbers!
I do hope that you will help Action Cancer to help others by sponsoring me on this challenging cycle ride. Any donation would be very much appreciated.
